Each of the classes were visited by representatives of the Northwest administration. Each of you should have gotten a handout with specific numbers to contact Northwest's personnel. Your instructor is repeating this in case this documentation has been lost.

This center has been in operation since 2000 and serves East and West Oak Lane among other areas. All the centers act as offshoots of CCP and the rules of main campus apply while at the centers.

For many years your instructor has taught at regional centers - North East, North West, West Phila and Main Campus - and regards all classes, whether at Main Campus or at a regional center - as the same. This has been the mantra of all department heads of what is now the Applied Technology deaprtment as well as the mantra of every regional center director. You heard the same from the center personnel.

One of the points the administrators were talking about is decorum in the classroom. It is school policy that no food or beverage be consumed within the lab. Your instructor will try to enforce this since breaks have been established to resolve hunger and thirst issues. In addition, we should talk about security issues: make sure all passwords are hidden from others. Take all your property when leaving the class when it ends - books, media devices, purses and handbags, etc. In case of emergency, the guard post at the front door should be contacted either by phone, indicated above or in person
